Together We Can

ENSURE A SAFE AND BRIGHT FUTURE FOR EVERY GIRL CHILD!

Who We Are

We are dedicated to empowering the youth, one community at a time.

Founded in 2007 by Charity Sedinam Mammara in the village of Binde, Northern Ghana, our mission is to provide vocational training and mentorship to young girls aged 16 and above who have completed basic education.

Recognizing the broader needs of our communities, CHACDET also organizes medical outreach programs and offers free full-time apprenticeships in collaboration with our affiliate teams. Our commitment to capacity building and vocational training has been acknowledged by the Ghana Philanthropy Forum at the 7th National Philanthropy Forum in October 2024.

What We Do

01.

— We Empower Through Skills

We provide young girls in Northern Ghana with vocational training in dressmaking and hairdressing, equipping them with skills to build sustainable livelihoods.

02.

— We Build Confidence & Networks

Through mentorship programs, we connect our students with accomplished women who inspire and guide them toward achieving their dreams.

03.

— We Transform Communities

Beyond vocational training, we organize medical outreach programs and offer free apprenticeships to support underserved communities.

04.

— We Advocate for Change

We raise awareness about the importance of education and skills training for girls, championing policies that empower young women and foster equality.

05.

— We Create Opportunities

By partnering with local businesses and organizations, we help our graduates access employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.

06.

— We Promote Education

We ensure our students receive foundational education in English and Mathematics, enabling them to excel in their careers and daily lives.
